Ep107. ”Stoner Moments” (Part 1 of our Interview with Fawn Baker)
Monday Nov 29, 2021
Monday Nov 29, 2021
Such a wild week! Hopefully, Fawn will see the funny in this title for part 1 of our 3 part interview with her. We had so many little goofs all the way up to the posting of this episode. On our end, we just got back internet as it's been down for days. We had to get our audio wizard (Chuck Nunn) involved and he did our wonderful Intros and exits this week.
We know that you'll love Fawn Baker (tattoo artist at Red Tree Tattoo in Columbus, OH), just as we do. It's hard for us not to love her as she shares so many things in common; She's a tattoo artist, a fan of a good blunt and a fellow podcaster. Fawn is one of the hosts on The Tattoo Collecting Podcast and she's quite the wiz at working tech, tattooing beautiful work, all while creating a fantastic atmosphere, for her, her clients and her podcast followers.

Monday Nov 01, 2021
Okay... So, right out the gate, we know Steve is going to blush when he sees the title of this episode... Own it and feel the force Steve! We all have doubts but the force is strong with you. Moreover, there's lessons learned in what others label us; They sometimes can see more than we can.
Steve Cochran is a manager and artist of Reckless Heart Tattoo in Greenville, SC. He's a wonderful guy and Amy had a great time meeting him (Rico wasn't available...shame, but we persevered).
Thank you Steve. We'll be coming to visit in the flesh at some point, or, if it happens at a convention sooner, be prepared for a big hug from both of us.

Last time, we learned about how Steve got going in the tattoo world... Not the most savory of places he admits. Hey, when the light comes in, it can only be seen clearly in the darkest of places.
Steve Cochran resides in Greenville, SC and manages Reckless Heart Tattoo. Having had a very unusual beginning, Steve truly cares about legacy; About how he impacts the world around him. Steve's gone through a lot of living. He's witnessed more than the average and knows what tattooing has done for him. Because of what Steve's experienced, he now aids in the coaching/education of other artists. (He just had one baby bird take flight into her own career.)
Some things to note:
The quote that Amy pointed out (the one about pain being transformed or transmitted) was said by Richard Rohr.
The artist, both Amy and Steve discussed, who does hand painted calligraphy, is @deliavico... Check out both references as these are people to know. :)
Thank you so very much Steve. We now have our time set with Rico and Tattoo-Steve ... This will be fun!!!

Ep101. ”Reformation” (Part 1 of Amy‘s interview with Steve Cochran)
Monday Oct 18, 2021
Monday Oct 18, 2021
This was an amazing 3 Part interview and we can't wait to share it with you!
Steve Cochran is an amazing guy, artist, manager, and undoubtedly, father. Steve resides in Greenville, SC and manages Reckless Heart Tattoo. He's not only gone through his own unique apprenticeship, but now helps apprentice other aspiring tattoo artists.
Steve has been a lot of places and experienced so much more than the average human, let alone, tattoo artist. He's truly worthy of having a book of his life written... and the amazing thing is that his life isn't even over yet; So many adventures await.
Thank you so very much Steve. We will be hitting you up to do an exclusive interview with you and Rico. Sorry he missed you this time. This exclusive has to happen because it will assuredly be the most fun podcast we've ever done.
