What an amazing story of hope. Just goes to show you that in life, it's worth risking big if the reward amounts to the kind of success that Jess and Kevin Farrand, have found.

Ep. 197 "Risk" (Diary Entry 1:2 with Jess & Kevin Farrand)

This was an instant joy as both Jess and Kevin Farrand, come with bright smiles and so much hope for wonderful things in this world. 
This is a couple who have "risked" much to pursue all passions. It's a powerful story and so far, it's produced glorious happenings. 
Our hope is that this gives Listeners a boldness of spirit; We can only ask outside of ourselves so much until we just have to risk high and obey the inner truth.

Ep. 195 ”D.I.Y. Punk Rock Vibes” (A Diary Entry with Nick Baxter)

It's so odd to say that Nick Baxter, of all people, has earned his place with me as an icon. He was epic when I started my apprenticeship. He was deserving of much praise then, but at that time, I couldn't find the energy to care. I noted the obvious: That he's an incredible artist with a perpetual youthful look. However, it took another 15 years for me to watch this incredible artist and finally, get to the point of a bit of anxiety in interviewing him. 
Nick Baxter of (Art Realm Tattoo and Art Gallery in Austin, Tx) has always been worthy of respect. When he commits, he does so with his whole being.

In order to title this podcast, an article was referenced on Goldcomedy.com, entitled: "How Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu can make you a better comedian", by Dagmara Citron. (Just a bit of light reading, in case you'd like to learn more.)
You see, the focus of this week's podcast is Byron Brooks; A BJJ instructor at Ground Control Owings Mills and a stand-up comedian.
It was an honor to finally talk more with Byron and learn more about his beginnings in both BJJ and stand-up. He's a very talented guy as he also is a graphic designer.

What a fantastic lady! Yet another gem of a human that Rico and I, had the pleasure to meet at the Paradise Tattoo Gathering:
Lita Edwards of Metamorphosis Ink in FL and lead to Boobs and Tattoos, is this week's star; As well as next weeks!
We highlight many things in this time but the biggest thing that I saw about Lita is how much of a courageous human she is. In all incidents, she rose to the challenge and did so with quite a bit of humility. Bravo to her and many thanks. She blesses this show with her story as it's unique in so many ways.

What a fun human to have met. I really got into this conversation with Killian Moon (Located in Atlanta, Georgia and works out of "The Magic Eye").
Killian is a mover and shaker. I appreciated this very fun exchange we had. Hopefully, as much as it wasn't an "interview" as much as it was a solid back and forth (we shared a lot of ideas), I hope that it shows Killian well and yields some great nuggets of wisdom for you Listeners.
