Diary Entry 260. "Simple is Hard" (3:3 Diary Entry with Swasthik Iyengar)

It was a common theme, throughout this entire time between Swasthik Iyengar and me, that it's very hard to keep things simple. Simplicity often gets misappropriated with ease or easy, but this couldn't be further from the truth 
Hat's off to Swazzy however, for she's managed the task of changing continents, within her journey, thus far. In many ways, life could have been simpler, but then agein, this wouldn't have yielded such a beautiful story and human. 
Swazzy is a resident artist of Good Luck NYC. She likes to pull from her culture and faith in her artwork. Lately, she's been gearing up for her first gallery showing in LA at the Devout Gallery. It's June 21nd. Mark you calendar!
Despite being in a major flow-state, painting, making, meditating... Swazzi gave quite a bit of time to this show. This is the conclusion of our 3 part Entry, with this beautiful talent.

We are back with our 2nd piece of this 3 part, Diary Entry with Swasthik Iyengar, of Good Luck NYC. She's a fantastic artist who's gearing up for her first gallery showing in LA at the Devout Gallery. It's June 21nd.

Diary Entry 258. "Saying, "Yes!"" (1 of a few with Swasthik Iyengar)

Wow... What an amazing time meeting this awesome person, talent, and tattoo artist! This is the first part of our time with Swasthik Iyengar of Good Luck Tattoo in NYC. She's here, sharing her culture and at the same time, loving our culture here in the states. Our recording marked her 1st year anniversary. Welcome Swazzi!
She's lived in multiple countries and really is a rich human in terms of experience (and all the other ways that really matter)... So much in so little time, it's really wonderful to witness.

Diary Entry 257. "Prayer Request" ( A Personal Entry from your Host)

I think my mic might be going... That's one more prayer I need answer to... Why my audio has this terrible sound in the background? Is it the mic or the cord? Guess I'll get a new cord and see... Please God... Let it be the cord! 
This week is just a call for prayer. Your host is stressed and needing some spiritual cheerleading.

Diary Entry 256. "Pouncing" ( 2:2 with Erika Lalita)

We are back with the rest of the wonderful time, we spent with Erika Lalita of Sylph Art Studios. In this next half, we learn more about being a chalk artist; Except, now that the all the wonder of this job has been revealed, we must talk about the realities.  
This next part is about self care, being realistic, and what sort of things Erika manages when she's not pursuing passion. 
There's always a toll to pay on the road to one's dream. Some of us discover that it's just a dream and look into something else, while some of us make dreams into chalk art for all to see.

Diary Entry 254. "A Mid-West Goodbye" (3:3 with Ken Madden)

Well, we certainly can talk! It's probably because Ken Madden and I don't see each other often, that we are bursting by the time we finally get together? I pray we don't wait so long next time.  
However, in this 3 part Diary Entry, there was a reoccurring theme of God and the gifts we are given to express God's love in this life. Ken, like me, recognizes this tremendous calling and in this 3 part series, we really look at how Ken has worked through his walk with God, all while sharing his gifts of drawing, design, gab, etc...

Diary Entry 251. "Take my Baby" (2:2 with Scott, AKA "Noshoes")

This is Part 2 of our Diary Entry with, "Therealnoshoes" (or Scott). He's an audio producer and has quite the following on YouTube (ever growing). Definitely check him out! He's sincere and makes a point of giving authentic "reactions". 
In this 2nd piece, we talk about learning practices as well as discover how Scott adopted that "forever" smile; It's not always kept him out of trouble, but it does allow him to deliver hard information, when he needs to.
