Ep 119. ”Finland Bound” (Part 2 of Amy’s Interview with Charlie Barba-Cook)

As we continue to talk with Charlie Barba-Cook, (Offensive Line) Part of the Minnesota, Vixen, we discover that Charlie does far more than leading the charge against an opposing team; Charlie helped to found and coach a separate woman's football team (great in their own right), the Minnesota, Minx(Follow them on IG). Moreover, Charlie is very involved with activism. Stay tuned to the end of our time with Charlie so that you don't miss all the wonderful things this human is trying to do. 
As it would seem, Charlie takes the offensive-line position in life; It's part of her "direct" approach. Moreover, she's open to field questions or give information (pardon our football puns). If you have questions, Charlie welcomes the interaction... Hit up those DMs!

Ep 118. ”A Place for All” (Part 1 of Amy’s interview with Charlie Barba-Cook)

Continuing the discovery of Women's football and the Minnesota, Vixen: Here's Charlie Barba-Cook!
Charlie is an offensive line player for the Vixen and a Disabilities Service Case Manager when not on the football field. 
Throughout Charlie's whole interview, there's the theme of guarding, managing, and a care that goes beyond her own best interests at times (which Amy can relate). As much as Charlie is ready and able to take an offensive position, she does so in the defense of all that she deems sacred.

Sam is a rising star and adorns the lucky number "13" as she lives her passion, playing women's football for the Minnesota, Vixen. 
Both personally and professionally, Sam is someone to admire. It's rare nowadays to find a human so focused and authentic. Ep 111.”Time of Day” (Part 2 of our Interview with Derek Hartmann)

Derek Hartmann (Derock to his friends) is a listener and now, a guest of T.A.D. We loved hearing his journey and what inspires this new face in the community. It was so easy to work with Derek in regards to podcasting that we can imagine that it's a wonderful experience to collaborate with him on a tattoo. Moreover, Derek has an aim to always be gracious and kind with future artists; He's had to start his career amidst a pandemic, lockdowns, supply issues... so he knows the hard-knocks well when it comes to pursuing passion.
Derek works currently out of Art and Soul Tattoo Gallery in New Glarus, WI. He's most into Neo Traditional as a style in tattooing and uses music as artistic inspiration. It was so nice to meet this budding young artist in Part 1. Derek Hartmann (Derock to his friends) is a newer tattoo artist and he shares his journey with us; Through multiple career paths that finally lead back to art, enduring shut-downs and finally, a position in tattooing.
